Courses on Peacemaking and Nonviolence
at Pendle Hill


This spring and summer, Pendle Hill offers four courses on peacemaking and nonviolence.

  • In April join Quaker author Anthony Manousos and Iftekhar Hussain, chair of the Coucil of American-Islamic Relations for PA, for "Understanding Islam," with Rick Boardman (April 21-25)
  • followed by "Interfaith Peacemaking," with Rabbi Arthur Waskow (April 25-27).
  • May 30-June 1, Nancy Diaz and John Meyer teach time-tested conflict resolution skills in "Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP): Basic Training."
  • Learn about real-life nonviolent transformation with Chris Moore-Backman's four-day course, "Walking with Gandhi" (June 22-26).
